Blog

Fist day of Scott's class, we were told to make blogs, at that time i had never heard the word "BLOG" and didnt know what it was, but since it is our homework, i ve found it interesting, and fun both making and reading others.
Since last year, blog has been used by many people day by day, and the number has increased. also, there are many TV programs which are related to the blog. waht is more, according to one of my english teacher, blog is very popoular all over the world and it is used as a globla communication.
so, i am glad that i could get the opportunity of making own blogs. now i am huryy to make blogs, but i wanna continue making it from now on;-)

my second year

our second year ends soon, and i am very sad. i do not want to separate from class 3 mates. i ve heard junior is easier than former two years, but we have to think about our future. my friends who is a junior now told me that the guidance of job hunting is held every months, and KGU teachers lash us for it. i though why japan is such a country...
after all i enjoyed my second year, though i missed class so much:-( it is one of my very bad habits that i feel flat on second term. i dont know why and i want to stop it actually, haha

everybody class 3 is so nice that i hope this class would continue. in Junior, i think i am gonna take ESOL class. i dont know if i accomplish or not, but i wanna try everything i can during KGU^^!
To Darren, thank you for your teaching. i learned how difficult to write essay, at the same time, i found my next goal:-) Thank you very much again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

live alone is...

last year, on June, i started to live alone near Hirakata. and it has past almost 8 months. and i realized living alone is not easy to do, but it is worth doing it!!
i hope i am better cooker now, but i have to cook meals, wash dishes, wash clothes, clean room, buy necessaries .... there are more work to do than i expectecd. i thought there was only freedom. i wanted to live alone because i want to be independent from my parents, though now i think my thought was silly.
but but but i am not regret for it. rather i appreciate that my parents let me do. it has been only a short time, but i learned the experience of living alone is not as same as that of living abroad.
i feel lonely sometimes and miss my family, but sometimes i want to be alone and concentrate on my study or enjoy my private time, so i think it's well-balanced. i am sad that i cant eat expensive meal like Yakiniku often, but like these good points in living alone, i have to do everything on my own, make me woman woman^o^/

My City

Sakai-city is my homwtown. i would like to introduce a little bit about Sakai-city, the second largest cities in Osaka.
Sakai has a long history and tradition, also has lots of historic spots.
first, Sakai city is famouse for knives. although there are few houses making them nowadays, i ve heard that many professional cooks order sakai knives no matter how far it is. Secondly, it is famous for Soba(buckwheat). near sakai satation, there is a nice, yammy, famouse Soba store called "CHIKUMA-Soba". i love it, so you should visit and eat Soba when you come to Sakai. As famouse as Soba, it is also famouse for Manju(japanese style bun stuffed with azuki-bean paste). This store is always crowded with visitors on weekends.
On traditional part, there is a huge ancient tomb near my house. it is for a Nintoku Imperial, and quite mysterious. Also,we have Zabieru Park( the park of Francisco de Xavier.) it is said when he visited Japan, he also came to Sakai-city. There is a statue to Francisco de Xavier, too:-o
There are more places you should go, and i am proud of such a nice city!!!

why i became to be interested in Egypt is after watchig a movie called "Mummy." i just watched it cause only there was my favourite actreess and it tigger me.
Next year, i am thinking to take Arabic, and want to learn more about ancient Egypt.
my goal is to write Arabian letters smoothly:-)

COLD HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am in the computer lab now, but for one hour, the maintenance has been somehow strange and the air conditioner had to turn off, so it is freeeeeeeeeeezing here!! we all feel like throwing outside!
also some printers dont work so my friend and i are in trouble:-( Yoshimi, too!!
and everyone says boo cause most students have to do their assignment by this week. we are doing our job by saying "oh-cold cold...." it's like a hardy training.
oh----i wanna finish my homework soon...

Resort Job

have anyone experienced of Resort Job as a part time job?
i want to do it during Spring vacation to get money for a driver's licence.
there are many places on internet and i cant choose which is best. especially, i want to do a job like a receptionist or a waitress at ski resort.
i ve heard it is hard and 8 hour working a day, but on sundays or weekends we can go skiing or go to hotspring to rest as a option. also, depends on the company, they offer us the cost of food, transportation and so on. also, i think it will be a social experience.
but... i will not treat you;-)

i want to have a drivers licence!!!

almost all of my friends have dirver's license, so ive planed to get it during spring vacation.
i have been eager to get it, but everytime i thought i was going to, there had been a money problem bothering me.
but i am wondering there will be no time to go to the drivers school when i would be a junior of KGU cause i will have to do a job hunting. so i decided to go to stay in a camp for taining to get the drivers licence on March. if i take this course, i can get it in two weeks or so and the cost is lower than the case i go to the driving school though it is still expensive for me. Isnt it reasonable??
so now i am searching where to go. i am very excited to get it:-)

The Coming of Age Day

It was a lot of fun and i want to do it again:-) though it made me exhausted and as soon as i got home, i went asleep.....
The ceremony began at 10 oclock on Monday morning. there were so many many people that half of us couldnt seat properly in the hall. Cause we had to stand, we got out of the hall and started to take pictures with my good old friends. it had passed about 5 years since we hadnt met each other that there was always everybody's laugher.
Once i left there and headed for my gradma's house to show my Kimono with my family. My gradma seemed very happy to see me.
about 8 at night i went to meet my childhood friends and went to eat dinner and Karaoke until midnight.
It was a hard day, but it would be one of happiest memories i had had;-) and hope everyone too!!

The Truman Show

Have you ever seen this movie before?
ive seen it many times and it is one of my favourite movies.
Jim Carrey is the main character and he is so funny that i laugh many times, but where he lives is a fictional world. i want to say what happens to the story but for anyone who has not seen it, i shall not tell it. Wait and See....;-)
my freshman year in the class, my teacher told us to read "The Giver." it is one of the books Gaidai teachers recommend. This is also a story of a fictional world. My class enjoyed reading. After we finished reading it, my teacher let us watch "The Truman Show." I was very surprised becasue it is one of my favourite, but i like Jim Carrey so i felt happy and enjoyed watching it:-)

A HAPPY NEW YEAR

Everybody! A Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At last 2006 came and the new year starts:-)
every year my family eat Osechi and celebrate the new year in the morning, and after that we go to Kyoto. it's like a routine of our house.
Osechi was awesome! my mother makes it every year from on the 30th of December. and i help her to arrang it to Ojuu. In Kyoto, we go to pay homage at a shrine and went shopping at OPA. we bought lucky bags for each. It's so exciting!! but this year i was unlucky :-(
anyway, how was your new year , everyone?

PARTY

Last Thursday, our class had a party at near Hirakata city. it was my second time and i had looked forward to it since October :)
it started at 6:30 and we were allowed being there max 2 hours on condition that we could drink as much alcohol as we wanted for. as soon as we made a toast, everyone drank very quickly at their first glasses. in case of me, actually i get drunk easily, so a half of glass is my limit usually. Although there was a Chu-hai called Strawbelly Milk. it was so nice for me that i drank too much i think.....
i was very glad that everyone seemed to be happy and enjoy the party.
Miki Mizumoto and i were the organizer of this party and i have had some difficulites contacting people etc, but i alomost cried when everyone said to us " Thank you!!" before we went home.
i really enjoyed it and hope everybody too ;)
Thank You very much!!!!!!!
